Community medicine department, FUSH, in the FUI health clock series episode, discussed about role of digital health in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The health talk was hosted by PGT, Dr. Sarah Baksh, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sumaira Masood, who was the guest speaker.

They discussed that digital health technologies including electronic and mobile health platforms (eHealth and mHealth), telemedicine, wearable devices, sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI) provide opportunities to improve access to and delivery of healthcare. However, the health system and government's role is crucial to overcome barriers causing a digital divide among communities. Nonetheless, the role of healthy eating practices, physical activity, and avoidance of risk factors was emphasized in the end.
