World Polio Day is celebrated on 24th October with this year's theme “A win against polio is a win for global health”. In this regard, Dr Raima Asif, Lecturer from community medicine department, conducted a session on this disabling and life-threatening disease. She talked about symptomatology and prevention through vaccination, with special relevance to Pakistan’s context.
