Awareness session regarding breastfeeding on FUI web TV
For FUI web TV, Faculty members from Community medicine department recorded on session regarding breastfeeding awareness. Dr. Sumaira Masood, Assistant professor community medicine hosted an interview with Dr. Shumaila Humayun, family physician and Assistant professor Community medicine department. According to theme of 2022, “Step up for breastfeeding: educate and support” she focused on education and care of breastfeeding mothers by telling benefits of breastfeeding to mothers, babies and community at large. In a reply to a question, she emphasized that this is the only and best food for the healthy baby who can grow into a healthy adult also. She also addressed the myths prevalent in our society.
