Radiology department at Foundation University Medical College & Fauji Foundation Hospital imparts training to undergraduate and post graduate students in collaboration with Clinical Sciences. The department strives to provide services to the patients through effective and efficient education of the staff, research, publications and other useful means.
This department has state of the art imaging modalities including 1.5 Tesla, wide bore 71 cm MRI System, 16 slice CT scanner Model AQUILION -16 and Nemio –MX Colour Doppler (Toshiba -Japan) Colour Doppler Toshiba Xario and ICONOS – R100 (800mA) X ray machine from Siemen. In recent past state of the art CR/DR systems has been installed. Toshiba High-End Color Doppler machine Aplio 500 Platinum with complete accessories is also another recent addition to the deptt.
The department and hospital are futuristic and optimistic in acquiring a Mammography machine and suite of interventional radiology in phased programme during development/up gradation of Fauji Foundation Hospital.
The department is providing basic diagnostic facilities in:

Gastrointestinal Radiology
Genitourinary Radiology
Musculoskeletal Radiology
Obs/Gynae
Small parts e.g. thyroid, breast, scrotum and eye
Faculty consists of one Professor, one Associate Professor and three Assistance Professors including co-opted faculty of Fauji Foundation Hospital.
