Clinical & Biomedical Research Center (CBRC)
The Clinical & Biomedical Research Center (CBRC) at Foundation University School of Health Sciences (FUSH) serves as a centralised platform to facilitate, regulate, and support high-quality biomedical and clinical research conducted by FUSH faculty, postgraduate trainees, and researchers. Under the CBRC umbrella, faculty members can avail two core support services.
The CBRC Registry functions as the official administrative and regulatory unit for research governance at FUSH. Faculty members may seek the following support:
Review of scientific literature for identifying gaps of knowledge and project development.
Interdepartmental discussion forums for integrated and collaborative research projects.
Review by experienced researchers for value addition to research projects.
Research Project Registration & Tracking
Registration of undergraduate, postgraduate, and faculty research projects; maintenance of a centralized research database; tracking project status (approved, ongoing, completed, closed).
Registration of research projects is mandatory for availing FUI research incentives (publication cash rewards, journal publication fee reimbursement, etc.).
PG Trainee (PGT) Research Support
Registration and monitoring of PGT research projects and compliance guidance.
Documentation & Compliance
Assistance with synopsis submission, ethical review documentation, regulatory alignment, and maintenance of records for audits and accreditation visits.
Research Coordination
Liaison between departments, supervisors, statisticians, and ethics committees; facilitation of collaborative research activities.
Assistance in submission to suitable journals and facilitation of publication.
The MDL provides technical and infrastructural support for experimental and translational research.
