The Department of Anesthesia imparts training to undergraduate and post graduate students. All students observe the General and Regional Anesthesia and are trained to administer Basic Life Support, Advance Life Support, Basic Airway management, Advanced airway management, I/V cannulation, IO Access, Basic ventilator settings and Primary Trauma Care.

Anesthesia Department has Ten Major Operation Theaters (Four Minor Operation Theater and Three Recovery Rooms), a dedicated Pain Center Accredited with CPSP and 16 bedded ICU. The Department has modular anesthesia equipment, monitors and a simulation training room.

Anesthesia techniques are demonstrated for General surgery, Orthopedics, Eye, ENT, Genito-Urinary, Gynae & Obs, Vascular, Thoracic and Neurosurgery. Ambulatory Anesthesia is given for MRI, Endoscopy, ECTs and Cath Lab.
