The Department of Oral Pathology is a vital academic and diagnostic unit dedicated to the study and understanding of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial region. It serves as a bridge between basic sciences and clinical dentistry by focusing on the causes, mechanisms, and effects of oral diseases. The department plays a key role in training undergraduate dental students in identifying, diagnosing, and managing various oral lesions through microscopic examination and clinical correlation.

Our department is equipped with Oral Pathology Lab which has compound Microscopes, Penta-head Microscope, and digital resources to aid learning and research. Students gain hands-on experience in interpreting histological features, and understanding the pathology behind oral conditions.

Faculty members are highly qualified and committed to excellence in education and research. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, laboratory skills, and diagnostic exposure, the Department of Oral Pathology aims to develop competent dental professionals who are well-versed in oral disease identification and research-based practice.
