Research in an integral part of curriculum of Community Medicine . Students during 6 weeks Block rotation in Community Medicine prepare and present synopsis on different themes .
On completion of batch A rotation , research synopsis presentation was held on 30th June 2021.Brig Prof Dr. Naila Azam ,Head of community medicine department and Prof Dr. Sadia Ahsan , Head of physiology department reviewed the research presentations.
Students presented synopsis on different themes, main theme was Covid-19 ,Knowledge attitude and practices in medical students, women of reproductive age group and factors associated with Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy. Students also prepared synopsis on awareness regarding Vit D deficiency and its effects on academic performance ,factors determining male readiness for contraception, Antibiotic Prescription in Paediatric Population Admitted with ARI in FFH and Antimicrobial resistance and sensitivity pattern of salmonella typhi and paratyphoid in FFH.
All the synopses were very well prepared and delivered.
