Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy (MS-MSKPT) is a specialized program in Musculoskeletal Sciences, encompassing musculoskeletal basic concepts, clinical knowledge, assessment and management approaches according to international standards.
Goal of the Program:
To build advanced level of skills in musculoskeletal assessment and management according to latest evidence based international standards and relevant to professional experience, to enable the graduates in becoming specialized practitioners to deal with a multitude of musculoskeletal system related injuries and conditions in future and improving physical therapy healthcare system.
Objectives of the Program:
- To demonstrate advance theoretical concepts and principals of complex musculoskeletal problems relative to physical therapy management
- To demonstrate skills in diagnostics, interpretation, and treatment of musculoskeletal functional conditions
- To identify researchable problems, advocate and participate in research, and incorporate research findings into clinical practice.
- To apply evidence based musculoskeletal physical therapy practice under dynamic situations.
- To develop effectively individualized musculoskeletal physical therapy plan of care based on evidence based assessment and management techniques.
Assessment Criteria
- Midterm/Sessional Exam after 8 weeks
- Final Term/Terminal Exam after 16 weeks
